Virgin Vacations Fall/Winter European City Getaways on Sale
Virgin Vacations is offering European vacation packages for fall and winter travel that include round-trip airfare and six hotel nights starting at just $749. But you’ve got to make up your mind quickly about them, because the booking deadline is three days away.
With this deal, you’ll get round-trip airfare from New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles (other departure cities are available for an additional fee), six nights in a hotel, and breakfast at the hotel each day - and hotel taxes and service fees are included. Destinations you can choose from as part of this deal are London, Paris, Rome, Dublin, Prague, Venice, and several others. The details vary depending on the destination (some are for fewer than six nights, for instance), but most of these deals are definitely worth checking out - airfare alone to some of these cities is only slightly less what you’ll pay for these vacation packages, which include hotel stays.
For most of these packages, the booking deadline is Thursday, September 18 - for London, you’ve got a few more days after that, as the deadline is September 24. And these packages will still be available after those dates, they’ll just cost you a bit more. Oh, and you’ll need to pack a sweater and possibly an umbrella when you go - the travel dates for this one are now through December 11, 2008, and then from January 8-March 25 of 2009.
As always, there are some things which aren’t included in the price - among them those infamous fuel surcharges, taxes, and security fees. These prices are also based on double occupancy, and you’ll pay more as a solo traveler. Be sure to read all the details before you book.
