Southwest Airlines is offering a few summer airfare specials which may tempt you away from the “Staycation” (oh, how I hate that word) this year. You’ll need to act fast on these, though, because the tickets have to be purchased by June 26 – which is two days from now.

The deal is this – if you fly on a Tuesday or Wednesday between July 15 and September 30, you can take advantage of sale fares on a whole huge list of cities. Some of the fares I’m seeing (and this is a seriously long list, folks, so be sure to check it out for yourself) are:

• $89 one-way between Dallas and Albuquerque
• $84 one-way between Ft. Lauderdale and Austin
• $77 one-way between Chicago and Baltimore
• $98 one-way between Orlando and Buffalo
• $84 one-way between Denver and San Diego
• $98 one-way between Las Vegas and Seattle
• $69 one-way between Tucson and Los Angeles
• $81 one-way between Philadelphia and Orlando
• $85 one-way between Salt Lake City and Phoenix

These fares don’t include some taxes and fees, and must be purchased at least 21 days in advance of your actual trip. You have to book them on the Southwest website, and – unfortunately – Labor Day weekend (August 28-September 2) is blacked out.
