Ryanair Offers “Free” Tickets in Oct-Nov 2008
Ryanair is known for sales on their airline tickets that sound too good to be true (and are, if you consider that the crazy low prices for their tickets never include all the little fees that they charge for, well, everything), but this one may just take the cake – Ryanair is now offering 2 million seats for free. Yes, free.
Well, kinda free.
So, Ryanair claims that these tickets are absolutely free, with no other taxes or charges to pay, but if you actually try to book one of these tickets there are suddenly numbers other than “0″ after that pound sign. Still, a round-trip ticket from London’s Stansted airport to Rome’s Ciampino airport – with a $0 fare available for some flights on some days – only ends up costing a little over £40. So, while it’s hardly “free,” it’s still an incredibly good deal.
These “free” tickets are only available on flights from Oct. 7 through Nov. 15 of this year, and you’ve got to book them by tomorrow – that’s Sept. 25, 2008. The days you’ll need to travel to take advantage of this deal are Monday-Thursday or Saturdays, and there are some black-out dates that vary depending on the destination. Be sure to read all the deal details before you book. Thanks to itravelnet.com for the pointer to this deal.
