I used to think cruises were one of the more expensive ways of traveling, but I keep seeing deals that tell me I’ve been wrong about that for a long time. Royal Caribbean has a host of deals, the one I’m now looking at being a 3-night cruise from Miami to the Bahamas starting at $249 per person, plus a couple of small fees. Considering this includes all the food, entertainment, and transportation, this could be a very cheap trip for a couple, as long as getting to Miami doesn’t break the bank by itself.

Of course, those prices are for interior rooms, but you can get an oceanview room starting at $279 and a deluxe room or a suite starting at $339 per person. These are for cruises starting in October as well, which is pretty much when hurricane season is over and the weather down there is still great. I don’t understand it, but I hope to try one of these myself at some point.
