Priceline seems to be celebrating their 10-year anniversary with a car rental sale, possibly because they can’t do much about the skyrocketing price of airline seats this summer. Could this sale be because fewer people are renting cars this summer due to the also-skyrocketing price of fuel? Perhaps, but these are some pretty good deals so don’t dismiss the idea of a road trip or car rental on your vacation just yet.

They are offering Name Your Own Price® Weekly Rates and Name Your Own Price® Weekend Rates, both with prices starting at $13 per day. Many cities in this sale start higher than that, and of course New York City is the most expensive of the bunch, but still many of these prices are shockingly low and worth a look. Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami are all starting at $15 per day or below, so check out the Priceline car rental sale before you book elsewhere.

It’s unclear when these deals end, but I’m sure it’s for a limited time only just like every other good deal on the planet.
