New York City hotels under $150 per night

In any other city in America, you can practically stay anywhere you want and not worry about having to spend more than $150, but as you certainly know by now, New York City is different. There is so little available room and so many people visiting every day, that even the cheapest rooms are usually over $100 a night, and those can be the size you’d expect of just the bathroom in most hotels across the country.

The sad thing is that doing business in this city is so insanely expensive, that hotels have to charge these crazy prices to even hope to stay afloat. Recent problems with the economy have caused some hotels to run promotions, but even those rarely seem cheap by most standards.

Here at Cheap Travel Scout, we’ve collected up all the hotels we can find that charge under $150 in New York City, and put them all on the page below. This list is updated every day, so if you don’t see a good deal now, be sure to check back another time.

Be aware that hotels near the airport are great for people coming or going, but they are poor locations for those who want to tour Manhattan during the day. The commute back and forth will take an hour each way, and won’t be cheap either.

The best deals on cheap New York hotels are found below.
