Last-minute deals to New York City are getting cheaper

This summer has been brutal for travelers, and thankfully things are finally turning the corner. I really like these last-minute deals on Orbitz.com, where they give you a choice of many different hotels for different lengths of stay, so you can customize the trip to meet your needs while you still get a last-minute deal. Here’s a 2-night deal including a flight from Washington DC and a hotel in Manhattan starting at $429 per person. They actually have a couple of cheaper hotels, but they are near airports and I don’t recommend that in NYC. This actually makes for a good deal in the Big Apple, and you can choose a different hotel and different departure city to find a good last-minute price of your own.
