Las Vegas Summer Hotel Deals
Las Vegas may be sweltering in the summertime, but everything but the outdoors is air-conditioned (and I’m sure they’re working on a way to fix that, too), and the summer deals to Vegas can be hot as well. SmarterTravel has listed a few deals in Las Vegas that start at just $120 a night for a hotel room - both on and off The Strip. The key to these deals is not just the price, though, it’s the “little something extra” that can make your trip even better.
For example, the MGM Grand - which sits right on the famous Strip - has a summer special going on right now where you get $35 in “activity credits” if you check in on certain days (listed on the hotel’s website), and you can use those activity credits toward things like dining in some of the MGM Grand restaurants or attending the Cirque du Soleil show that’s at the hotel. You’ll also get two free inner tube rentals and 15% of a spa treatment. Rooms start at $180/night.
The off-Strip South Point Hotel & Casino has free shuttle service to and from The Strip, and the rooms all come with 42-inch plasma TVs and clock radios that have MP3 player docking stations. And the hotel complex is so massive that you can go bowling, horseback riding, or watch a movie in a theatre - all without leaving the hotel. Rooms start at $120/night.
