Las Vegas hotel bargains are getting easy to find

by Roger on August 20, 2008   |    Posted in: Travel Guide    |    No Comments

Lately we’ve seen quite a few stories saying Las Vegas is having trouble filling rooms in this economy and with these gas prices (about half the weekend visitors usually come from the Los Angeles area), so the rooms seem to be coming down in price. Hotwire.com, which always has a policy of giving you most of the details about a hotel without giving you the name, now has 3-star hotels on the Strip starting at $45 per night, and a 4-star hotel in the South Strip (which is the area booming with new resorts and such) for $69 per night.

This time of year in Las Vegas is always a bit slow because there aren’t as many conventions during summer and it’s insanely hot there in August, so this seems like a great time to find a bargain at a nicer hotel. Check out Hotwire’s Vegas hotel deals to see what they are currently offering.
