I’ll confess that usually when I see airfare sales listing their one-way fares, I’m skeptical. Sure, that number always looks good and lures you in – but then you’re hit with the realization that you’ve got to get home somehow. When I see the one-way figure for a trip from the U.S. to the Caribbean comes in at under $100, however, I’m intrigued.

JetBlue has a sale going on right now to highlight its three new destinations in the Caribbean, and they’re offering fares from New York to Barbados, St. Lucia, and Jamaica for $99 one-way (or $198 round-trip) this fall. This is great news for anyone who’s already got their summer travel plans sewn up but still wants to take advantage of this incredible deal – it’s not even good until October.

The dates for which these trips are good depends on which destination you choose of the three, so you’ll want to make sure you’re planning your trip in accordance with the restrictions (in other words, read the fine print). But no matter which city you decide upon, you’ll need to book your trip by June 17th. And it’s quite likely these seats will go fast, so you probably don’t want to dilly-dally too long before you hit the “book” button.
