You’d think at this point I’d be used to these, but I still find it a bit amazing that Jet Blue keeps coming with these fare sales. Some short routes, like Boston to NYC, are starting at $29 each way, plus taxes (which don’t add up to much on domestic tickets), and even some routes that go across country are only $79 or $89 each way.

The major catch is that these fares are only good for travel on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, so they know most people are going to put in their ideal dates and get higher fares, and often pay the higher amount. But still, there are plenty of people with a trip in mind and some time on their hands, who would go at these crazy prices.

This sale is only valid today, April 23, but based on recent history I predict something similar will pop up again soon.
