The airline known for their discounted fares is offering even more discounted fares right now in honor of their new home at New York’s JFK airport. Jet Blue Airlines announced a sale to “celebrate” their new home in Terminal Five at JFK with fares starting at just $44 each way. So, if you are looking for a weekend getaway this fall, right now might be the perfect time to take advantage of these low prices and jet away. Maybe you’ve been waiting for an excuse to visit your college roommates (and act like you are in college again) or maybe you just like the idea of spending the weekend somewhere other than home. In any case, these low fares make it hard to justify NOT taking a little weekend trip.

Keep in mind, though, that with fares this low there are of course a ton of restrictions. When I looked more closely at the cheapest fares offered, I realized that in order to get the best price, travel had to be completed by November 18 and also had to take place Monday-Thursday and/or Saturday. However, if you’ve got some flexibility in your schedule (and maybe in your destination also), you can really score an amazing deal right now. The fare sale also extends to Nassau, Bahamas, San Juan, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, so if you are dying to get in some beach time it may be hard to resist booking a vacation with fares this low.
