Jet Blue Spring Sale with fares starting at just $39 each way

I love a good deal (though that’s actually a pretty stupid thing to say, because I mean, who doesn’t love a good deal) and when it comes to getting a great deal on anything travel related I love it even more. As a girl who likes to use my limited disposable income on plane tickets rather than new shoes (though I wish I could have both), finding the cheapest airfare possible is always something I’m trying to do. That’s why I got excited when I saw that Jet Blue is currently having a great “March into Spring” sale, with flights starting at just $39 each way.

Now, I’m not going to spend too much time here talking about the recession (because, honestly, you’re probably just as sick of hearing about as I am), but I will say that all of this economy-in-the-shitter business has been pretty good in terms of low airfares. With the travel industry smarting from a lag in sales, the airlines are having to practically give away plane tickets to get people to travel. This recent Jet Blue Sale is no exception. Ok, twist my arm, I’ll fly to the Bahamas from Boston for $79, but just cause you’re practically making me with that ridiculously low fare.

While these fares are pretty unbelievable, it is also important to remember that what you see is not necessarily what you get. First off, make sure you keep in mind that these advertised fares do not include taxes and fees and there are of course terms and conditions to scoring these sweet deals. That being said, if you like the idea of flying to the Caribbean for less than a couple hundred dollars round-trip or taking advantage of the other great fares offered, than checking out Jet Blue’s sale is probably worthwhile.
