Hotel deal in Amsterdam for just over US$50

These deals for the late spring are so low that it’s becoming hard to believe, but I do think this is legit. I found a special on Expedia for a 3-star hotel in Amsterdam at prices starting at US$58 right now. You have to book soon and stay between May 2 and June 16, but that’s not much to ask if you are planning a trip there soon.

The HEM Hotel is in the southeastern part of the city, in a residential neighborhood. It’s a nice 3-star place with Wi-Fi in all the rooms, so it’s a great deal for some people. However, if you want to stay right in the action and you are still on a tight budget, you should check out the hostels in the Red Light District, or if you want to stay in the city center but out of the craziness, you should check out hostels near Vondelpark. There are really good deals all over the city these days, so you should be able to find something that works for you.
