I live in Portland, Oregon, and I’ve never been to Hawaii, partly because the last time I priced flights they were like $800 roundtrip and up. I just saw that Hawaiian Airlines has deals from here starting around half that for travel this fall with prices starting at $360. I feared this was one of those “one-way based on roundtrip purchase” things, so I priced it all the way through and my total was only $420 including taxes for a September round-trip.

It appears that Portland is strangely their cheapest city, but others are close:
