As someone who often travels to and from Denver to other western destinations (and sometimes the East Coast), Frontier tends to be my go-to airline for finding inexpensive, direct flights to just about anywhere. With their great Weekend Web Fares released every Wednesday, as well as constant sales on fares to a plethora of places, Frontier seems to make it pretty easy to score a great deal on that next plane ticket. Since Frontier also does a ton of flights in and out of Colorado ski towns (check out the 12 Best Ski Resorts in North America), flying Frontier can also be a cheap and easy way to get good deals on ski packages and airfare into places like Aspen and Steamboat.

I recently bought a ticket on Frontier for the trip back home to Colorado from my current residence in Portland, Oregon for my little brother’s college graduation. I was astounded to see with Frontier’s promotional online sale going on right now I could score a ticket for as little as $79 each way. With taxes and fees the whole thing only cost me $171, which clearly had me feeling really good about the decision to fly home to watch a boring ceremony (plus, I made the little bro sit through mine, so it’s kind of like pay back now). In any event, I’m not sure how long these great promotional prices will last, but if you are flying to/from Denver to anywhere from Orange County to Vegas to Chicago, you should probably check ‘em out.
