It’s no secret around here that I love both the Colorado Rockies and a good ski vacation, which is why I am bringing you a great deal on ski vacation at Aspen/Snowmass that I found on Travelocity. Of course, all of these deals seem to have hidden requirements to actually procure the advertised sale/deal, so, here’s the real deal: If purchase a minimum two night stay lodge and lift ticket, you get a free night of lodging, a free day of skiing or riding and a free day of equipment rentals. This basically means that you can get a 3-day ski trip for the price of a 2-day trip.

Seems that with the economy hurting, so are ski resorts, which is why you’ll find lots of these sorts of deals all over the place right now. Plus, according to my inside sources (aka my family) the Colorado Rockies have gotten a whole bunch of snow in the past couple of weeks, tripling the base in just 72 hours. Sounds like a recipe for fun if you ask me.
