Leaving Portland with a thick and very unusual blanket of snow for the snow capped Rocky Mountains, I feel inspired to bring y’all a ski deal today. Denver based airline Frontier has some great ski package deals on their web site, including packages that include airfare into many Rocky Mountain ski towns, lodging and lift tickets. Resorts are hurting this year with the poor economy keeping many usual skiers at home—forcing ski resorts to offer up some pretty fantastic deals. Frontier also has Weekend Web Fares released each Wednesday morning, where you can also get some great cheap airfares to assorted destinations. Because I travel frequently between Portland and Denver, I keep a lookout on these fares and have frequently gotten a pretty good deal on airfare, including one ticket for only $65 each way.
