Anyone with kids knows that at some point you’ll have to make the pilgrimage to one of the Disney theme parks. What’s more, you’ll have to spend your life savings to have any fun there, right? Well, not if you plan your trip around someone’s birthday in 2009. Disney is offering a great promotion right now that gives you free admission on your birthday next year.

To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to register yourself on the Disney website with your birthday, and then you’ll get a confirmation message you can print off and bring with you to the park. You’ll need to bring ID that shows your birthday when you go to the ticket window, but that’s it – you’ll get in free if you’re coming to a Disney park on your birthday.

I can’t find anything in the FAQs to indicate whether this deal is just good for the two US-based parks or if you’d be able to get in free to Disneyland Paris, for instance, but it’s possible that information is available once you’re in the registration process. And of course, this offer of free admission doesn’t mean you get anything else for free (and there’s plenty more to spend money on once you’re inside), but it’s a start, right?
