Europe fare sales for fall are getting good now

by Roger on August 27, 2008   |    Posted in: Travel Guide    |    No Comments

Delta Airlines has announced a fare sale on one-way fares from New York City to major European destinations, for tickets purchased by September 1. We expect airfares will continue to head lower as the year nears its end, but for now this is a nice step in the right direction, after a brutal summer for Europe fares.

Some sample fares (one-way out of NYC):

  • Shannon, Ireland: $279
  • Dublin: $299
  • Amsterdam: $319
  • Barcelona: $329
  • Rome: $379
  • Paris: $359
