Dublin on Sale for Summer: Save More with Dublin Hostels

Savvy budget travelers know that most European destinations go in the markdown bin during the off-season, and we don’t mind packing a sweater instead of a swimsuit if it means we get to experience our favorite European cities without the high prices and crazy throngs of summer tourists. And most of the time, the weather isn’t bad enough to make a wintertime escape anything but a little chilly. In Ireland, however, it’s nice to visit during the summer – because even then it can rain buckets on you.

So it’s nice to see a summer fare sale to Dublin that will, hopefully, let you enjoy some of the city’s sights in decent weather.

Now, even if one of the city’s highlights – a tour of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin doesn’t exactly require nice weather. In fact, a pint of Guinness at the end of the tour (included with your ticket!) is the ideal way to warm up your insides while you wait for your outsides to thaw. But it’s a must-see in Dublin, and frankly that Guinness pint is nice no matter what the weather.

A Viking Splash Tour of Dublin, however, is distinctly less pleasant when it’s raining – and since it’s easily the most fun you’ll have on a city tour, that’s one more reason to take advantage of the low fares to Dublin this summer and enjoy this interactive tour when it’s not pouring out.

And since you’re into saving money on travel (or why else would you be reading this blog?), in addition to the airfare sales to Dublin like the ones listed here, be sure to check out these Dublin hostels for your stay – there are tons of hostels in the city, but our intrepid explorer actually visited and reviewed each of the ones listed on that page so you’ll get first-hand information and photos of the places before you book.

Jessica loves to travel, but she left her heart in Italy many years ago. She's working on relocating to Italy in order to retrieve it, but in the meantime she loves making all kinds of travel easier for others.
