Dela Airlines rolls out summer fare sale
If you’ve done any searing around the interwebs at all, you have noticed that summer airfares are pretty damn low this year. Turns out struggling economies makes for great deals in the travel world. Sure, your 401k may have taken a big hit, but at least you can afford to take off on a fabulous vacation. Right? Right. (I like to be a look at the glass half full kind of gal). As it turns out, Delta Airlines announced a big fare sale recently, with one-way airfares starting as low as $100.
Summer usually marks high travel season when airlines RAISE ticket prices, not the other way around. However, with more people contemplating “staycations” this summer, airlines are having to roll out some pretty great incentives to encourage people to still travel. The greatest part about this Delta rollout of great airfares? Other airlines have followed suit in order to stay competitive, which means that airfares to just about everywhere this summer are one sale.
