Continental Features Promo Fares to London Heathrow

Just yesterday I posted a deal for flights from the U.S. to London on Virgin Atlantic, but it was so time sensitive that if you’re just seeing it for the first time now you’re already too late. I do have another deal on flights from the U.S. to London today, but the prices aren’t nearly as good as yesterday’s deal. In fact, don’t even look at yesterday’s deal anymore, especially if you’re contemplating buying one of these tickets. It’ll just make you depressed that you didn’t buy a Virgin Atlantic ticket yesterday.

Okay, so today’s deal is on Continental Airlines, and it’s meant to announce to the world that they’re now flying directly to London Heathrow Airport - something that was impossible for years due to a weird agreement that only allowed a couple of U.S. airlines to fly into Heathrow. Some of the sample fares on this London deal are:

Cleveland-London - $970 RT
Newark-London - $970 RT
Baltimore-London - $1024 RT
Houston-London - $1122 RT
Chicago-London - $1164 RT

As usual, there are additional taxes and fees and such that aren’t included in the fares listed above, but unusually for a fare sale there isn’t a date by which you’ll have to book these tickets or even a specified date range when you’ll have to travel. These prices won’t last forever, of course, but it’s unclear how long Continental will run this promotion before raising prices. So, keep an eye on the deal and if these are the best fares you find - book ‘em.
