A little travel site called Travelocity is offering some really tempting weekend deals to Las Vegas for some upcoming dates. These sample deals are for flights departing New York City, but of course you can switch the departure city for a different list of prices, many of which will actually be cheaper than these cross-country flights. Their cheapest special on the page right now is for 3 nights including airfare and hotel for $369 per person. At this point in time I would expect the flight alone to be much higher than that, so the 3 hotel nights are a bonus.

Las Vegas tends to slow down in summer, and right now they are struggling a bit to fill rooms at all, so booking a cheap weekend trip might not be too difficult, especially with the help of Travelocity.
