Cathay Pacific’s All-Asia pass continues to be an excellent deal

This deal has actually been around for at least a decade, and I did it myself in 1999 so I can personally vouch for how great it is. It’s sort of like a rail pass for Asia, and it’s amazingly cheap considering what you get.

For $1099 you get roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York, to Hong Kong, and then 4 more destinations within Asia on flights in and out of Hong Kong. So you can visit Bali, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore, as well as Hong Kong itself, all for $1099. There are other possibilities and add-ons as well, but the main deal is enough for most people and it’s an excellent value.
