California Hotels for as little as $44/night

by Julie Blakley on November 25, 2008   |    Posted in: Travel Guide    |    No Comments

With far fewer people traveling this season, those looking to still getaway are doing so with a much more limited budget. As a result, many airlines and hotels are having to reduce prices in a big way to encourage people to still travel despite growing economic concerns. So, if you are looking for a way to get away this winter, but don’t have a ton of extra cash laying around to do so, then now may be the perfect time to score a sweet deal. Expedia is having a sale on hotels in California, with rooms starting at just $44/night. With air + 3 nights in a hotel starting at under $400, you could be soaking up some southern California sun or visiting the Golden Gate bridge for a whole lot less money than you thought possible. Whether you want to hit the wine country in Sonoma or golf in palm Springs, with great deals on hotels, you’ll have no excuse this winter to not pack and bag and head for the Golden State.
