bmi Winter Sale to Belgium & Scotland from US
Nearly every Europe fare sale includes the big destinations of London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome, but very few include second-tier entry points. So it always catches my eye when a fare sale is to a city other than one of the major international airports in Europe – like this deal on British airline bmi to cities in Belgium and Scotland.
Some of the sample fares are:
- Washington D.C.-Brussels – $281 one-way
- Chicago-Brussels – $314 one-way
- San Francisco or Denver-Glasgow – $378 one-way
- Los Angeles-Edinburgh – $404 one-way
- San Francisco-Edinburgh – $399 one-way
There are also some sales on flights into Manchester, England on this deal as well, including departures from Atlanta or Dallas for $351, from Las Vegas for $485, from Newark for $264, from Portland or Seattle for $413, and from San Francisco or San Jose for $382. All those fares quoted are one-way.
bmi’s deal is for this upcoming fall or winter, so the prices will seem like a welcome relief after you’ve looked at the high fares of summer travel. You’ll need to book your ticket by July 3, and you must begin your trip between October 30-December 10, 2008 or January 9-March 25, 2009. A 7-day advance purchase and Saturday night stay is also required, and you can’t stay longer than a month. Read all the details before you book.
