Personally, I think the idea of driving in Italy is insane, but I’m not a particular fan of driving anywhere. Important things to know about this Auto Europe deal:

Free upgrades are available in each country for different travel dates - for Germany, the offer is good on pick-ups through July 31, 2008. For Israel, the offer is good on pick-ups through June 30, 2008. For Italy, the offer is good on pick-ups through June 30, 2008. For Spain, the offer is good on pick-ups through May 31, 2008.
Upgrades available and the dates by which rentals must be booked vary by country.
This offer will vary depending on the car category booked and the length of rental.
This offer is valid only on manual transmission cars and is subject to availability.
Upgrades may not be available for travel into Eastern Europe.
