Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti, starting at $1099

I’ve written about a few of these similar deals in the past, but this might be the best one yet. Travelscene is offering what they call a Pacific Pass, which lets you create your own itinerary branching off a roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Australia, at prices starting at $1099 per person. With the basic version you can fly out of New York City instead for only $100 more, which sounds like an excellent deal as well.

This Pacific Pass thing allows you to mix and match other Australian cities with a stop in New Zealand or in Tahiti or Fiji. It says you can stop in 3 additional Australia cities and New Zealand for only $1199, although I’m guessing there are a couple of fees not included in that price. Still, this looks like an excellent deal on a wonderful trip. I’ve done a similar thing, stopping in New Zealand and Tahiti on my way from Sydney to Los Angeles, and I’m very glad I did that. It helps break up the long flight, and both the stops were amazing on their own.
