Asia is actually cheap this fall thanks to Singapore Airlines
Here at the Cheaptravelscout Towers, many of us spend much of our day researching various travel options, and to be perfectly honest much of the Europe news is pretty depressing lately. With that in mind, I’m recommending more people start thinking about Asia this fall, and Singapore Airlines is here to help. Some of their fares don’t look too incredible at first glance, but these are really long flights and the destinations are generally fairly cheap once you arrive. But a few of the deals are incredible, most notably the two below.
- Los Angeles to Tokyo – $794
- Los Angeles to Taipei – $845
The above prices are roundtrip, and I believe they include ALL taxes and fees. The only catch seems to be you don’t get frequent flier miles, but whatever. This is cheaper than Europe, and I think at this point even Tokyo is more affordable when you get there because the dollar hasn’t lost much against the yen while it’s gotten hammered by the euro and the British pound. Here is the list of deals of of LAX, but they have various offers out of other major US airports as well.
