AirTran has a good summer sale, but it ends June 12
AirTran Airways, the low-cost carrier based in Orlando, Florida that serves 58 destinations, is running a really good sale at the moment, but it ends on June 12. Of course there are restrictions, and the best deals are to be had for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but if you can work around all that some of these fares are shockingly low.
Some sample one-way fares (no roundtrip required):
Los Angeles to New York – $159
Chicago to New York – $119
San Francisco to New Orleans – $159
Atlanta to Seattle – $149
- Book your tickets by June 12, 2008, 11:59 pm ET.
- Travel through November 5, 2008.
- 10-day advance purchase required.
- Lowest sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Additional sale fares are valid for travel on other days of the week.
- Blackout dates are as follows: June 27-29, 2008; and July 3, 6-7, 2008.
