Airfares to Asia starting at $230 each way
So, the economy may have recently taken a nose dive, and you may be a little concerned your retirement or college fund has gone down the tubes, but one positive side effect of the plummeting Dow is that airfares have also been getting cheaper. International flights especially seem to have gotten much less expensive as airlines are trying to keep their biggest planes full of passengers. This includes great airfares to far away places like Sydney, Manila, Delhi and Seoul, which are just a few the destinations you can travel to for a lot less money than usual right now. In fact, I found some great Pacific and Asian deals on Cheapo Air this morning that start at $230 each way from a variety of U.S. cities. To get these hot fares, you have to book by November 4 and Travel by December 31. But, if you want to escape winter and head to Australia for summertime, than now is the perfect time to book your flight at reduced prices (sorry, folks, the price may be reduced but the flight time is still going to be the same—you may want to pack your travel pillow and sleeping pills).
