Okay, so if you’re anything like me, when you hear the words “Air Tahiti” and “airfare deal” you’re probably thinking it’s a cheap flight to Tahiti that’s on offer. Well, that’s where you’re wrong. Air Tahiti Nui has a deal available right now for a round-trip fare from Los Angeles to Paris for $894, including taxes.

Now, it should be said that this fare was unearthed at one specific moment in time by one specific deal hunter, and when a subsequent deal hunter tried to find the same deal they were unable to do so. Still, just in case you happen to fall into the necessary hole in the time-space continuum and get an equally good deal, it’s worth looking, right?

This deal was found on Travelocity, and the travel window used was from November 1, 2008 to January 31, 2009. The specific test dates were for a week in Paris over Christmas, from December 22-29, 2008, and there are a few dates that are blackout dates right around the holiday itself, but you should play around with potential travel dates to see if you can find the sweet spot yourself.
