9-day Affordable India Tour is just that
I’ve just come across a really interesting deal from Gate1 Travel, for a 9-day tour of India that includes airfare from New York City for $1,879 or is only $759 if you get to Delhi some other way. You can price in airfare from any other city, but it’s nice that this leaves you the option to possibly find an even better deal elsewhere, and then join this tour once you get there. It includes 7 nights of good hotels in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, as well as all breakfasts, daily sightseeing in an air conditioned coach, and entrance to the Taj Mahal (which is my favorite Mahal, by the way).
I’ve been to India before and it can be a bit intimidating, so having a tour like this already arranged is actually something I’d recommend even for people who normally travel independently. Much of India is fairly cheap once you get there, but nearly all of it is really chaotic, and simple things like booking a train ticket can be huge ordeals that can practically ruin your day. This looks like a pretty good deal that allows you to avoid all of that and still see the best stuff.
