7 Nights in Taormina, Sicily + 3 Guided Tours from $1,125

While most first-time visitors to Italy make a beeline for the country’s most visited cities of Rome, Florence, and Venice, there’s much more to Italy than those three cities – and with this 7-night vacation package to Taormina in Sicily, you’ll get to see another side of the country.

Taormina has long been a famous resort city, but there’s more to the city than just spas and sunshine. This vacation package offers a 7-night (8-day) trip, including 7 hotel nights in either a three- or four-star hotel, private transfers from the airport, three guided local tours, breakfast daily and one dinner. The tours are of the cities of Siracusa and Agrigento, both known for their archaeological ruins, as well as Sicily’s Mount Etna – Europe’s highest active volcano. And the price for all of this starts at just $1,125.

There’s no deadline for booking this trip, as it’s just based on availability, but the deal is only good on departures through October 31, 2008 – so you’ll need to book quickly if you think this is the deal for you (after you’ve read all the details, of course!).
